Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy covers the InfuMedz website at infumedz.chandus7.in and the InfuMedz Android application. Both use the same account and the same database, so what is written here applies to whichever one you use.

1. Who we are

InfuMedz (Infusion Medical Education Zone) provides medical video lectures, reference notes and academic support services for medical students and postgraduates. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean InfuMedz.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work.

Information you give us

  • Account details — your name, email address and phone number when you register.
  • Password — stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash. We cannot read your password, and neither can anyone with access to our database.
  • Reviews and ratings you choose to post, shown publicly with your name.
  • Support messages and tickets you send us, including anything you write in them.

Information from Google, if you choose Google Sign-In

Your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password and we request no other Google data.

Information collected automatically

  • Purchase records — which courses and books you own, and the order reference for each.
  • Notification token (app only) — a device identifier issued by Google Firebase so we can send you push notifications. It is removed when you sign out.
  • Basic usage counts — anonymous visit counts used to understand how busy the service is. These are not linked to your identity.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, health records, or any clinical or patient information. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

3. Why we use your information

  • To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
  • To give you access to the courses and books you have purchased, on both the website and the app.
  • To process payments and send you a receipt.
  • To answer your support messages.
  • To notify you when new content is added to something you own, or when we reply to you.
  • To keep records required for accounting and tax.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers listed below, and only to the extent each one needs to do its job. We do not sell or rent your information.

Provider Purpose What it receives
Razorpay Processing payments Your name, email and payment details, entered on their own secure checkout
Google Google Sign-In and push notifications Your Google account identifier; a device token for notifications
Google (Gmail) Sending receipts and account emails Your email address and the content of that email
Oracle Cloud Hosting our servers and database (Mumbai, India) All service data, stored on infrastructure we control

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

5. Payments

Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay. Your card number, UPI PIN, CVV and bank credentials are entered on Razorpay’s own checkout and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on our servers.

What we store is the order reference, the Razorpay payment reference, the amount and whether the payment succeeded. That is what lets us grant your access and issue a refund if one is due.

6. Where we store it, and how we protect it

Your information is stored on servers we control in the Oracle Cloud Mumbai region, in India. Measures we take include:

  • All traffic to the website, the app and our API is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes and are never recoverable.
  • Administrative access requires a separate authenticated session.
  • Database backups are taken daily, verified, and stored with restricted access.

No service can promise perfect security. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile is removed from our systems.

Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, even after an account is closed. Backups are rotated on a schedule and older copies are overwritten in the normal course of operation.

8. Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • See what we hold — your profile is shown on your Profile page, and you can ask us for anything else.
  • Correct it — contact us and we will update it.
  • Delete your account — from the Profile page, or by asking us.
  • Turn off notifications — in your device settings, or by signing out.

Please note: deleting your account also removes your access to any courses or books you have purchased, and this cannot be reversed. If you only want to stop receiving emails or notifications, contact us instead.

9. Children

InfuMedz is intended for medical students and qualified professionals. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give notice in the app or on the website.
